To replace the brake you need to first expose the securing screws these are under the deck grip tape. You can either remove the griptape by scraping the complete deck or using a sharp knife cut around the screws which can be felt under the griptape. A 5mm will remove the 2 securing bolts , remove the old brake and fit the new . It can be fitted with the wheel in position however it may be easier to remove. Ensure grip tape is replaced or securely in position.
