What you’ll need

  • Replacement brake pedal
  • Phillips screwdriver

How to remove the old brake pedal

  1. Make sure the stroller is on a stable surface.
  2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the brake pedal from its mounting point.
  3. Gently pull the pedal away — you will see it is connected to a brake cable.
  4. Unhook the pedal from the cable and set the old pedal aside.

How to fit the new brake pedal

  1. Take the new pedal and hook it onto the brake cable in the same position as the old one.
  2. Make sure the locking pin is aligned and correctly seated in its slot.
  3. Hold the pedal in place and use the Phillips screwdriver to screw it back onto the frame securely.

Final checks

  • Press the pedal several times to ensure it moves smoothly.
  • Confirm the brake engages and releases properly before use.
